GEMINI was a group class project. We had to design a game for mobiles or tablets. I was asset maker for this project and I was also part of the design team. here is description of the game: Using ships that enhance human psychic ablity two twins are tasked with saving the human race from an alien invasion. On the surface this game seems to play like most top down space shooters with a leaning towards bullet hell, but it stands out with unique controls and features. The player controls the both ships by placing a finger on each and dragging them independently. This forces the player to be constantly aware of the ships position to keep them from danger while also symbolically representing the story of the pilots. The game really comes into its own though when the two fingers come together and the ships combine, if only for a few moments, to slow down time giving the player the ability to move to safety or ahead of the enemy. This power slowly recharges while you play and is represented by the meter in the bottom right corner. The first level, on earth, is the most basic having a single enemy type and a boss that is a faster version of them with more health. The Second level, on the destroyed moon, has a boss whose lasers are designed to divide the screen forcing the player to watch out for both their ships as the five lasers alternate. The third level takes place just before a worm hole and its boss conists of several enhanced ships that the player must fight off. The final level, on the alien homeworld, has the player fighting against hordes of the first boss with the level ending in an attack on the main alien base while avoiding its cannons. The player has three lives to make it through all four levels and their bosses in their quest to achieve the highest score.
